Open one product photo or a whole set. Type the product name once and pick each picture's view; the colour comes from the pixels, the checker adds the product rules, and the rows you approve become a Shopify, WooCommerce or plain CSV.

Nothing here recognises the product: the name and the view are yours, the colour is measured, and every row says which is which.

Alt text a shopper can use

A shopper using a screen reader hears the alt text of every product photo in a gallery in turn. What helps is what distinguishes one photo from the next: the view (the back, the label, the product in use), and the colour if the listing comes in more than one. What does not help is the product name repeated six times with nothing else, or the price, which the page already says in text.

So each row here is built from the product name, the material, the colour measured from that photo and the view you pick for it, in that order, and checked by the same alt text checker as the rest of the site with two product rules on top.

What it will not do

  • It does not recognise the product, the brand or the model number.
  • It does not upload to a store. It writes a CSV you import yourself.
  • It does not write SEO keyword lists into alt text, and flags them when you do.

Questions people ask

Are my product photos uploaded?

No. The photos are measured in this tab and the CSV is written in the tab. Nothing is sent to a store, to this site or to anyone else.

What goes into each alt text?

The product name you type (once for the set, or per picture), the material if you give one, the colour measured from the photo's own pixels, and the view you pick — front, back, side, top, detail, in use, packaging or size chart. For example: “Women's cotton kurta with block print, cotton, red and white, back view.”

Why does it warn about prices and offers?

Because “50% off” and “₹499” are not in the photograph. A price changes; the alt text is announced every time the picture is. The checker adds a product rule that flags prices and sales words, and the usual alt text rules still apply — a keyword list with no sentence is a problem here too.

Which store CSVs can it write?

Shopify's product CSV image columns (Handle, Image Src, Image Position, Image Alt Text), a WooCommerce-friendly file (filename, alt, title) and a plain file, alt pair. Shopify reads Image Src as a URL, so swap each file name for the uploaded image's address before importing.

Does it recognise the product?

No. Nothing on this site names what a photograph shows. The name and the view are yours; the colour is measured; every row says which is which.
